Photo Assignment

I am learning how to balance time while doing this photo assignment, because there is a lot to accomplish. I actually am enjoying editing these photos, because I am personalizing them. I'm beginning to master photoshop, and I know how to interact with most of the tools now. I'm also learning about photography. Anything can make a good picture. It's in the way you capture the photo, such as angles, lighting, and focus. I'm learning how to capture an image and editing it so that there is one thing to focus on. After editing, a photo can have more color or blur thanks to photoshop.

PSA and Photoshop

I think Adobe Photoshop would be useful for many jobs. However, a photographer would probably use it more than most people. Covers of magazines, school yearbook pics, and many others are all enhanced by using some form of photo editing. I can use photoshop for my own pictures and projects in school. The program doesn't just have to be used for pictures. I've created different texts as well. PSA's or public service announcements are messages from people about a specific topic. They are used to persuade others to be for or against. The tagline in a PSA is the important phrase that gets the point across. Most PSA's are remembered for their taglines. You may not even believe you've seen or heard a PSA until you know what the tagline is.

Adobe Photoshop

Adobe Photoshop has been very difficult for me to figure out. There are so many different tools. At first I struggled, because the program is very overwhelming. However, the more that I use it, the better I become at putting the tools to use. Although, the face swapping was, without a doubt, the hardest thing I've ever done, I loved it after i figured it out. I could swap faces all day. Matching skin tones is pretty difficult though. The only thing I could suggest for the instructor is to not move as fast, but I understand that there are other things that need to be accomplished in the class, not just mastering Photoshop.
